Feeding Time!
It’s that time of year when most gardener’s thoughts turn to planning an achieving
their perfect garden, and whether that’s a blooming good display of flowers,
or a wholesome harvest of vegetables, now’s the time to provide your soil
with all the nutrients it requires. To ensure your garden is getting a good helping of the principal nutrients of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium, you need to ensure you are using a properly composted product. Raw mature, for instance, will simply take nitrogen out of the soil as it rots. Sheep manure has long been a favourite with many gardeners, and at Church Meadow we are professionally composting and blending our sheep manure to bring you a product which will both feed the soil and improve it’s texture by adding bulk which will lighten heavy clay soils and improve the drainage of sandy soil. |
